Casual outfits for summer do not mean sloppy. Naturally, we want to be fresh and comfortable, but we don’t want to sacrifice our professional persona.

I hope what I say next doesn’t offend any of my readers. But, women over 40 must not dress as if they were in their 30’s or, worse their 20’s. Putting on shorts and flip-flops certainly is tempting, but I would reserve that outfit for backyard picnics or working in your garden.
