Fall began on September 23, 2015 at 3:21 A.M. (CST) and will end on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 10:49 P.M. (CST). In some places (not Austin), nights will be below-freezing temperatures combined with days of temperature below 70 degrees F. There are two times in the year when night and day are about the same length of time. This happens in late March (Vernal) and in late September (Autumnal). Even in Austin, from this day forward, the temperature begin to drop and the days start to get shorter than the nights.
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for a change in seasons.
