Gosh, it’s hard to believe that July is soon ending. July—a month that celebrates the birth of our nation. It’s also an excellent time to reflect on the importance of liberty. Thomas Jefferson once said, “Liberty is the only sure foundation of human happiness.” Undoubtedly, you’d agree that this sentiment is as meaningful today as when Jefferson wrote it.
Why is liberty essential? It allows us to pursue our goals and live as we see fit. It allows us to worship as we please, speak our minds, and assemble peacefully. We are grateful for the freedoms that we enjoy. Visit my post “Patriotism: Not Just a Flag and a Song”
